Hello,
Welcome to the hypnotic submission discussion (HSD) forum. We have been around for 5 years (our birthday is Dec. 7, 2003). Today, we have 839 members. We're a fun loving web community of people interested in the uses of hypnosis with erotic content, but we talk about everything hypnosis related and plenty of other off topic. We're set up to discuss, socialize and network within our own hypnofetish community.
We recognize what members mean to a club like this, and being a wallflower where you prefer just to read, is perfectly OK with us, of course we hope to inspire you to post. These tips will get you out of here really fast.
We have special events with guest speakers, parties, live trances, mp3s and all sorts of hypnotic fun. In fact we had a great party last night! We have been meeting 'on go to meeting' where you can share your desktop, so we are having great fun playing with that just now. Last night I was surfing all the snakes for sale from all the best boa constrictor breeders, on my desktop and broadcasting it, while we were partying! : ) Geo was encouraging me to keep showing snakes, so I did.
1. No advertizing.
This group discusses a variety of interests. We ask that you please refrain from making this group a vehicle for advertizing. This includes (but is not limited to) professional Dommes. Advertizing and ad posters will be <snipped>. The only exception is from time to time, Goddess Kwan Yin, the owner, will promote her websites, events, groups, classes, and hypnotherapy sessions, and other enterprises, some of which have fees however this will be infrequent, and no money will be discussed in the group.
2. A "one liner" personal ad is OK, after the signature for nonPro members only:
If you, the nonPro, wish to alert the membership that you are seeking a Dom/me or sub, you may do so with ONE LINER at the end of your post after your signature, in text only, no banners or other HTML please, no other ads.

Please respect the privacy of the people on this forum. Members please feel free to forward any offensive unsolicitied email that you may receive from a member to goddess.quan.yin@gmail.com If you can't tell if they are a member, feel free to send them and I will look up their email address for you.
Do NOT use your introduction as a personal ad, do not tell us that you are seeking a Dom/Domme or a sub or hypnotist. Use a one liner after the signature. This way THEY can contact YOU.
3. No flames, be polite.
If you disagree please do so politely. Do not attack another member in a personal way or your post will be <snipped>. Mind your manners. The right way to disagree is politely with facts or other ways of substantiating your view.
If you came here for a fight, you're in the wrong discussion group. Most of what irks newer members is that they don't know we're kidding yet. So, relax, kick back, and watch first. Do not jump into fighting mode. Even some long standing members here don't know how to use the lol and : ) to really indicate they are kidding. And humor is easily lost online anyhow, especially dry humor like ours tends to be.
4. New Policy:
Everyone gets free hypnosis MP3s! In order to receive these MP3s I'd value your input if you would make an introduction to the group (not to me) and would value you if you'd be a participating member of this group, but it's also OK to just read, as we value all you wallflowers too. Readers are appreciated group members too.
5. Don't butcher my name.
If you call me anything else besides Goddess Kwan Yin or Kwan Yin or Quan Yin or Goddess, I will edit it to read correctly. I do not require, expect, or even tolerate the appearance of you serving me in any way so don't misconstrue this expectation of basic courtesy as anything more than that, because it isn't.
6. If you make a point as a fact, please back that up with links to the research, or some other substanciation. If you claim there is a study, you MUST post a link to the study. If not I will delete your claim that there is a study at all. This is common sense, and you should be doing this all the time in every group. It is SO fast & easy to find everything in a search engine, there is no excuse for not backing up what you claim is a fact.
9. Off topic posts are welcome! A liberal policy will be taken with Off Topic posts. Please exercise care with posts that deal with religion and politics.
11. ProDommes:
You ARE very welcome here to the discussion but not allowed to advertize in ANY way. Even one liners about looking for subs will be <snipped> from your posts (see rule 1.).
12. Terms of Service (TOS) for Hypnotic Submission Discussion (HSD)
This group is privately owned. The owners/moderators reserve the right to remove any member or message for objectionable content like homophobia, racism, pediphilia, bestiality, hate in all it's facets or anything else we find objectionable. Members, former members, and applicants agree to hold the owners and moderators, and servers owners, blameless for any actions arising from allowing unmoderated individual posts. Will will come by and clean it up later. Members, former members, and applicants accept all responsibility for any and all actions that may result from the content of their posts, files, links, photos, etc., to this group. You MUST be at least 18 years of age to join, or older if the age of consent is older where you live.
By applying to join you stipulate that you are a legal adult, and agree to be responsible for your posted content.

Highly recommended guidelines:
New members please read some posts first before making your first post, then we'd value it if you would make an introduction. This will help to give you a chance to know who we are and what we are about and vice versa. Your introduction might include something about your interest in hypnosis, and if you've ever been hypnotized, as it will let us know a little bit about you. Mention if you're a D/s person if you wish.
